Getting your pupils to do exactly what you want can be quite a demanding task. There’s a plethora of tips and tricks that supposedly can make your life as a teacher a lot easier. However, these ideas commonly are rather difficult to apply to every random situation in your classroom.
Peter Teitler, a Dutch secondary school teacher, tried to address this problem. He came up with things that actually work!
He gave a lecture at the Hogeschool Utrecht (FE), where he not only talked about his ideas, he also showed them. The lecture was great fun, as Mr. Teitler apparently has a lot of humour.
He has written a book, which is called ‘Lessen in Orde’.
